Un-polluted – Insia Fatima

Lungs, un-laced with smoke

Lips, un-touched by dope

Fingers, un-tangled in fear

Skin, translucent and sheer

Shoreline, that smelled of fish

Rain, each leaf did relish

Intentions, that helped you grow

Together, un-fazed, Un-sure.

Insia Fatima is a part-time amateur poet, part-time financial analyst who lives and works in New York, but comes alive in Mumbai. Her work appears regularly on her blog, and has been published in the past in literary magazines such as The Brown Critique.
