Fiction – Anees Salim is the author of The Vicks Mango Tree (Harper Collins India), Vanity Bagh (Picador India), Tales from a Vending Machine (Harper Collins India) and The Blind Lady’s Descendants (Westland Books). He beat authors like Manu Joseph and Amandeep Sandhu to walk away with the prestigious “The Hindu Prize for Best Fiction 2013” for Vanity Bagh, and also won the 2015 Crossword Book Award in Indian Fiction for The Blind Lady’s Descendants. He is an advertising professional and is based in Kochi, India.

Poetry – Cp Surendran is a journalist, writer and one of India s finest modern poets. His published collections include Portraits of the Space We Occupy (HarperCollins), Canaries on the Moon (Yeti), Posthumous Poems (Penguin Viking), and Gemini II (Penguin Viking). He is the author of three novels, An Iron Harvest, Lost and Found and Hadal (4th). He was resident editor of The Times of India in Pune for three years and senior editor with The Times of India in Delhi. CP as he is known within the literary circles quit as the Editor-in-Chief of DNA (Daily News and Analysis), India s third-largest-selling newspaper last year. He won many awards for writing and journalism including Reuters International Fellowship at Oxford, Wolfson Press Fellowship at Cambridge and British Council Literature Fellowship at Cambridge.
